Building on the success of the events held in 2013 and 2016, Hungary will host the third Budapest Water Summit in 2019. The conference will take place on 15-17 October 2019 under the patronage of János Áder, President of Hungary.
Water is our most endangered natural resource. It is essential and irreplaceable. Perhaps the most important issue of the 21st century is how to avoid and prevent a global water crisis.
This will be the main topic of the Budapest Water Summit. “Polluted water” (industrial pollution, untreated waste water, plastic pollution), “too much water” (hurricanes, floods) and “too little water” (droughts) also pose global problems. At the Summit, domestic and international solutions reflecting on these issues will be presented.
